There are more than 1,150 websites and platforms where rental properties are offered. The problem: the offerings are scattered. One property is on Funda, another on Pararius, yet another in a Facebook group. To miss nothing, you need to know where to look.

Funda — the largest platform

Funda is the best-known and largest housing platform in the Netherlands. It is the first place most people search — and that is exactly the problem: everyone searches there, so the competition is fierce. A new listing on Funda receives dozens of responses within the first hour.

• Advantage: Large and reliable selection. All NVM real estate agents (Dutch Association of Real Estate Agents) post here.
• Disadvantage: Extreme competition. Only NVM real estate agents, so not all properties are listed.
