Both names on the contract?

Highly recommended. Both partners receive equal rights and obligations. If only one name is on the contract, the other partner in principle has no tenant protection and no right to remain if the relationship ends.

Important: Make sure both partners are on the rental contract to prevent legal issues in case of a breakup.
