Unfortunately, not every rental relationship runs smoothly. Repairs that are not carried out, unreasonable rent increases, or a landlord who is unreachable. This chapter gives you the tools to resolve problems.
Repairs that are not done
- Step 1: Report in writing to your landlord (email, keep a copy). Describe the problem, add photos.
- Step 2: Give a reasonable deadline (6 weeks for non-urgent, immediately for urgent).
